EmImpacto Genshin, you can have all the five-star characters you want, but without the right weapons, they're just there to brag about how lucky you are in the digital game. True pride comes from working hard for the weapons you put in your hands. Unfortunately, five-star weapons can be just as fickle as their character counterparts, and players will often have to make do with what the game allows them to have through perseverance.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: Comically broken units
These would be the craftable weapons in the game. They are only four-star items, but they should survive and are certainly easier to find than the five-star ones on weapon banners. As with all weapons in Genshin Impact, only a few are worth your time and if you want to own something that isn't too far removed from the five star weapons that have the best potential thenthese forgings should not disappoint.
Updated Aug 8, 2022 by Rebecca Timberlake:Genshin Impact is always changing and adding weapons to your inventory, making it easy for your characters to vary. This also extends to forged weapons, meaning you will always have the ability to craft a weapon at the forge if you don't get the one you want from Wishes. In some cases, you might find that the weapon you make is much better than the one you find or earn in the long run anyway.
18 star shining prototype
- Max Basic Attack:510
- Secondary Statistics:Energy Recharge 45.9%
- Passive Skill Focus:Increased normal and charged attack damage
The Starglitter Prototype is a four star weapon that you can craft for your character in ten seconds with a few simple ingredients and 500 Mora. Once equipped, your character will have their normal and charged attack damage increased by eight percent for up to 12 seconds after using their elemental ability.
When maxed out, the Energy Recharge secondary stat will beextremely helpful for your Polearm user, especially if you give it to someone like Yun Jin or Hu Tao.
17 win cross spear
- Max Basic Attack:565
- Secondary Statistics:Maestria Elemental 110
- Passive Skill Focus:elemental skill boost
Another four-star polearm, the Kitain Cross Spear is a powerful weapon for any of your characters who need elemental mastery as well as an energy boost. While energy recharging isn't the primary purpose of this weapon, you'll get three regenerated energy for your hero every two seconds for six seconds after a successful elemental skill hits an opponent.
In addition, the damage of his elemental skill will increase by six percent when using it, making the character a powerful opponent. You might think that the Kitain Cross Spear isespecially useful in Thoma or Raiden.
sixteen Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
- Max Basic Attack:510
- Secondary Statistics:Energy Recharge 45.9%
- Passive Skill Focus:increased elemental skill damage
A four-star claymore, the Katsuragikiri Nagamasa is similar to the Kitain Cross Spear in that it increases your character's elemental skill damage by six percent. It will also give three energy regenerations in two seconds for six seconds after a successful hit on an elemental skill opponent.
RELATED:The best Gacha games, ranked
The biggest difference between the Katsuragikiri and the Kitain, other than the weapon type, is that the Katsuragikiri Nagamasa does not affect the user's Elemental Mastery. Still, it pays to increase your energy and attack damage, especially on Beidou or Sayu.
15 Amenoma Kageuchi
- Max Basic ATK:454
- Secondary Statistics:ATQ 55.1%
- Passive Skill Focus:Power generation
Ever wish your Japanese RPG character in Genshin Impact could have a katana? Well, your wish was granted, almost. The Amenoma Kageuchi is one of the first of many katana-like weapons, and luckily it's a four-star fakeable. It's very easy to create, just follow some side quests.
The secondary stat is highly desired in a gaming community that values damage above all else. However, the passive skill is a bit of a waste as it is more focused on giving the user excessive amounts of energy. However, for characters like Ayaka, it's a good weapon.
14 Hamayumi
- Max Basic ATK:454
- Secondary Statistics:ATQ 55.1%
- Passive Skill Focus:Increased normal and charged attack damage
Hamayumi is a beautiful bow that is perfect for DPS transport bow users like the currently available Yoimiya or even Fischl and Ganyu. It gives massive amounts of ATK and a bit more in its secondary stat, making it superior compared to other options in the four-star category.
If those numbers aren't enough, let's introduce the weapon's passive: a buff that grants a fixed, unconditional percentage increase to normal and charged attacks. This becomes double if the character's energy is full. A good handful for Arc DPS users.
13 Anel Hakushin
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:Energy Recharge 30.6%
- Passive Skill Focus:elemental damage bonus
The Hakushin Ring looks a little underwhelming in a sea of catalysts that grant ATK or Crit stats, but it's still a decent weapon. This Inazuma themed ring has a high enough base ATK to be competitive compared to other options. The energy recharge secondary stat isn't too bad either.
Activating the passive can quickly become problematic as it requires an electrical status effect, but it's still a manageable requirement. After meeting this requirement, your party can get a sizable elemental damage bonus.
12 ice transporter
- Max Basic ATK:510
- Secondary Statistics:ATQ 41.3%
- Passive Skill Focus:Additional AoE Attack
The Frostbearer is one of the options that is actually more appealing than Inazuma's Hakushin Ring. This cold catalyst from Mondstadt boasts incredible ATK numbers for its secondary stat with a base ATK high enough to be proficient with.
However, like Hakushin Ring, making good use of its passive can be tricky. Frostbearer has a chance to do a bonus area attack on normal and charged attacks, except you can only max damage if the enemy is Cryoed. Without that, it's still useful enough.
11 blind to white
- Max Basic ATK:510
- Secondary Statistics:DEF 51,7%
- Passive Skill Focus:ATK and DEF Upgrade
This claymore here proves that sometimes defense is the best offense. The base ATK is good enough, but the secondary stat greatly increases the user's defense. If that wielder is a C6 Noelle, this weapon can also be five stars.
As for the weapon's passive ability, it's a nice additional boost to ATK and DEF (up to 24 percent at R1). Both are good buffs, but you'll need a Claymore user with fast attacks to stack this buff quickly. Otherwise, just go with Prototype Archaic.
10 despite the prototype
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:DMG Physical Bonus 34.5%
- Passive Skill Focus:ATK and DEF Upgrade
The Prototype Rancor recipe is given to players for free via a quest, but it soon becomes apparent that you might need more than one of these deadly chopsticks. Prototype Rancor is good for any build, as you can't go wrong with the ATK stat.
The only downside is that it has a physical DMG bonus as a secondary stat, but that shouldn't matter too much since most sword wielders either rely on physical damage for DPS or aren't suited for DPS. Creating at least one of these should do your group some good.
9 iron sting
- Max Basic ATK:510
- Secondary Statistics:Maestria Elemental 165
- Passive Skill Focus:Elemental DMG increase
For sword users who rely heavily on their Elemental Skill/Burst or have a clear advantage using elemental reactions, then Iron Sting would be better than Prototype Rancor.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: The Best Teleport Waypoints to Find
One character that comes to mind regarding this weapon's maximum would be the Traveler. It's also a good choice for Xingqiu or Keqing and works well with Albedo or even Bennett. Iron Sting grants tons of elemental mastery and further boosts elemental damage for those sweet reactions.
8 archaic prototype
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:ATQ 27.6%
- Passive Skill Focus:Additional AoE Attack
For most players who don't own the Tombstone of the Wolf, they'll have to settle for the catharsis of owning an archaic R5 prototype (refinement five). It is probably the most refined of all weapons that can be crafted because it is a good and cheap alternative to the Tombstone of the Wolf.
Many Diluc PlayersI love this Claymore. Not only is it a percentage increase in ATK thanks to the secondary stat, but it also adds random damage to each attack. It's a pure, no-frills offensive weapon and should appeal to our caveman tendencies well.
7 Snowy Grave of Starsilver
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:DMG Physical Bonus 34.5%
- Passive Skill Focus:Additional AoE Attack
Snow-Tombed Starsliver is really good competition for Prototype Archaic, especially for characters that deal physical damage. Two that come to mind in this category are Razor and Eula, who is at her best at dealing physical damage.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: Best Alchemy Recipes
It's even better for the latter, as Eula deals cryo damage and Starsilver Snow-Tombed adds bonus cold damage against enemies affected by cryo. Meanwhile, the stats are not far from the best. The physical DMG bonus is quite substantial.
6 pike in growth
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:DMG Physical Bonus 34.5%
- Passive Skill Focus:damage increase
Speaking of physical damage, the Crescent Pike is like a polearm version of the Snow-Tombed Starsilver. Its secondary stat is physical damage, and it's actually pretty good for a Zhongli physical DPS whose banner is just around the corner.
This is why forging a Crescent Pike ahead of time can be a good idea. It's also perfect for Zhongli, as he spawns lots of elemental orbs/particles to trigger Polearm's ATK-boosting situational quirk.
5 Dragon's Thorn Spear
- Max Basic ATK:454
- Secondary Statistics:Physical DMG Bonus 69.0%
- Passive Skill Focus:Additional AoE Attack
To craft the other polearm, look no further than the Dragonspine Spear. It can be obtained from the same location as the Snow-Tombed Starsilver and is pretty much the equivalent of that weapon. Indeed, it is a precious weapon for Rosaria.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: The most important characters to have in the current Meta
You can easily apply cryo to your targets, thus activating the weapon's skill with bonus damage. Other than that, many other characters will not benefit from this weapon like Xiao.e hu taogo to Deathmatch (for cheap four star weapons) and Xiangling needs to specialize in pyrotechnics.
4 growing prototype
- Max Basic ATK:510
- Secondary Statistics:ATQ 41.3%
- Passive Skill Focus:Charged attack and movement boost
The Prototype Crescent, like the Archaic Prototype, is a good all-round bow that will work with any character if you can't decide which build to use. Prototype Crescent usually does a lot of ATK damage; your secondary stat adds chunks of them.
For any bow wielders who rely on charged attacks, Prototype Crescent can only level them up to godhood, as hitting a weak spot with this bow increases movement speed and ATK even more. For someone like Ganyu, it can easily become monstrous.
3 compound bow
- Max Basic ATK:454
- Secondary Statistics:Physical DMG Bonus 69.0%
- Passive Skill Focus:Aumento de ATK e ATK SPD
On the other hand, not all bow users are predisposed to attacking charged shots. Some, like Fischl, prefer to turn bows into machine guns (possibly because he thinks he's on Honkai Impact instead of Genshin). For these characters, the Compound Bow would be of great help.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: Things You Didn't Know About Visions
That would assume your Fischl is C6, which isn't hard to get these days. Other characters such as DPS Venti will greatly benefit from the ability to increase the Compound Bow's attack speed.
2 amber prototype
- Max Basic ATK:510
- Secondary Statistics:CV 41,3%
- Passive Skill Focus:Energy and HP regeneration
Now for the catalytic converters. Prototype Amber is decent in that regard, despite the secondary HP stat that seems to have been created with Barbara in mind. The item's ability activates with Elemental Burst and can turn Barbara into a power battery for the party.
Other than her, few other catalyst users would benefit from Prototype Amber, so feel free to put it on low priority until perhaps another HP scaling catalyst user enters the picture.
1 sea map
- Max Basic ATK:565
- Secondary Statistics:Maestria Elemental 110
- Passive Skill Focus:Elemental DMG increase
Mappa Mare is actually a better option compared to Prototype Amber due to the Elemental Mastery secondary stat. It is tailor-made for catalytic converter users whoI love using elemental reactions.like Klee, Mona or Barbara.
When placed in the right hands, he can turn fusion or vaporize setups into single-shot groups that can do upwards of six-figure damage. Of course, that's assuming you don't have better 4-star or even 5-star weapons.
