Assassin's Creed Valhalla cheats, tips and strategy (2023)

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is an open-world action-adventure role-playing game and the sequel to the 2018 game Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game is set in the year 873 AD and tells a fictional story of the Viking invasion of Britain. You control Eivor, a Viking raider who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. Check out our in-game help tips.

how to fish

Fishing in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a side activity that Eivor can perform using a simple fishing rod found among his gear. You can fish at one of the many fishing spots in the game and for that you just have to throw out the fishing rod and wait a while before you catch a fish. Once you have one, you need to land it, which requires constant monitoring and control of your fishing line tension. If your fishing line is stretched too tight, it will break and the fish will escape and you will have to repeat the process. Catching and consuming fish is important as it allows you to regenerate health.

Timing is important when trimming as there is a short window of around 1 second in which to make the move. Choose to be hunted by members of the Order of Zealots

At the beginning of the story, a dialogue option appears that determines whether the zealots will hunt you down during the game or leave you alone. It is recommended that you choose to have the members of the Order of Zealots hunt you down as this will save you time as they will come to you instead of having to look for them.

How to defeat enemies with unbreakable metal shields with your bow

The easiest way to defeat enemies with unbreakable metal shields is to hit their weak spots, which are usually their legs or arms. When you aim your bow at an enemy, the weak point turns orange. It is recommended to use the light bow as it has more arrows and is faster to shoot. You should also consider upgrading your quiver in the Inventory menu to carry more arrows so there is less chance of running out in battle.

It's important that you remember to regenerate your health whenever possible, as it doesn't automatically replenish in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. You will also be able to restore your health by sleeping in your bed.

Trophy/Achievement Easy Silent Viking

To get the Silent Viking trophy/achievement you must assassinate 10 enemies in a row without triggering any combat. A good area to try this out is Haervik Shipyard, which can be found in the middle of Rygjafylke, Norway. Here you will find many enemies alone. You cannot unlock the Silent Viking trophy/achievement with a bow, you need the hidden blade that you get during The Lost Prince quest. It also helps to have the Chain Kill skill as it makes it easier. Make sure you don't get spotted by a wolf between lanes as this will put you in conflict. Also, only R1 (PlayStaton) and RB (Xbox) melee takedowns count for this (stealth bow takedowns do not count).
